🥑Have you ever cooked with AVOCADO OIL before?

It’s fairly new on the shelves, and it’s a great option if you’re cooking at high heat.

➡️Not only does it have a high smoke point, but it also has some potential benefits for your health.

It’s about 70% oleic acid, which can help balance your cholesterol and keep your blood pressure healthy.

It’s also a great source of antioxidants like lutein ... which helps protect your eyes.

One often overlooked benefit of including healthy fats in your diet: they can help your body absorb nutrients from other foods.

😲Just one example: eating avocado oil with vegetables (like carrots) increases the absorption of the carrot’s nutrients by as much as 17 times!

Avocado oil also has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help your immune system, fight free radicals in the body, and may help reduce pain.

💡It’s easy to add avocado oil to your diet … Simply swap it out for other oils you would use for cooking or salad dressings.

Your sleep has a surprisingly large effect on your fitness and wellness results which is why your challenge for the week is …

😴 Logging 7-8 hours of sleep EVERY NIGHT! 😴

💡Getting enough sleep means:

● An improved immune system
● Healthier weight
● Lower risk of serious health problems, like diabetes and heart disease
● Less stress and a better mood
● More focus & improved mental performance
● Improved relationships (because of that better mood!)
● Reduced risk of car accidents (tired drivers cause thousands of accidents each year)
● And one we don’t think about a lot: when you’re rested you make better everyday decisions.

Some quick steps to a better night sleep:

👉🏾 Schedule in enough time for 7-8 hours of sleep
👉🏾 Avoid alcohol or caffeine for 8 hours before bed
👉🏾 Wind down at least an hour before bedtime – lower the lights and do something relaxing
👉🏾 Make sure your room is cool, dark, and quiet, and
👉🏾 Create a nighttime routine that will signal your body it’s time to sleep.

Hold each stretch for 30 secs (each side for the single leg stretches)

Top tip: Aim to stretch directly after your workouts whilst your muscles are still warm to reduce risk of injury and improve your flexibility and mobility 👌
